MRO (Phase 1 & Phase 2)

The Werner-von-Siemens Centre for Industry and Science (WvSC) bundles a number of different projects in the areas of Smart City and Industry 4.0.

The DOS department is involved in the Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) research project. The MRO project focuses on the development and testing of digitization strategies for production-related change in the maintenance and repair business of components, systems and machines.

The department DOS develops an AI-based smart expert solution that provides intelligent IT-services and suggestions in the MRO process in the production process.
