International Alliance for Digital E-learning, E-mobility and E-research in Academia (ide3a)

The International Alliance for Digital E-learning, E-mobility and E-research in Academia (ide3a) is a collaborative project in the higher education sector involving a multidisciplinary and international consortium. This network of European universities is a living lab for developing new tools for the digitalisation of teaching and learning in the internationalisation process, with a particular focus on interdisciplinary research-based learning and short-term mobility in international blended learning formats. The project is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). We conduct teaching and research on the digitalization of critical infrastructures like water networks, energy grids, sensor networks, and other interconnected urban systems. In the project we are offering interdisciplinary courses by developing new e-learning methods and usable simulation tools. Our aim is to support the mobility of students across Europe.
